The owner of this 1990’s home loves to cook and the original small, outdated Kitchen was no longer feasible. The solution involved removing a wall between the Family Room and Kitchen, expanding the Kitchen into the old eating area and creating one large room for living and entertaining. The new long island doubles as a work area and eating area. Two sinks accommodate both prep and clean-up at the same time. A separate pantry room off of the Kitchen houses pantry items and additional Kitchen wares. This was both a practical and beautiful solution for this home.
