In 2000, Spa Roma owner, Michel Blankenship, decided to expand her growing salon business in Morgantown to a full service salon like no other in the area. The intent of the new Spa was to create an elegant atmosphere that included separate areas for client services.
The Spa design includes a signature circular staircase that wraps around a stunning two story client waiting area. The stair leads to a second floor of the Spa and serves as a photo opportunity for brides and other clients on their special days.
The Spa includes an ample Hair Service Area where clients can experience a service with their stylist without the hustle and bustle of most salons. A unique, separate Color Room is available for clients receiving color services. The Children’s Room includes child friendly hair stations, as well as a play area for children. The first level of the salon also includes a Make-Up Area, individual Treatment Rooms, a Service Bar for Spa events and private parties, a Retail Center, and back-of-the house areas including offices and storage. The second floor makes way to a Manicure/Pedicure area that overlooks Cheat Lake; individual Treatment Rooms for massages, facials, and other treatments, and Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms and Baths.
The Spa offers clients an enjoyable, relaxing spa experience in a classic style setting.
